Hello! With Hurricane Sandy hitting the Northeast, I though it would be a perfect time to do a post on "Rain Style"! Hopefully, you don't outside, but if you must stay safe and dress properly. xo
Hello All!
With Halloween around the corner and our lovely family friend's daughter's 1st birthday, it was the perfect opportunity to combine the two events! It was so creative and looked like it was right out of a magazine. The fun names of the candy was definitely my favorite! I also loved the chevron pumpkins! ( DIY here) The celebration was planned by Lilly Tangen founder of Twirl Parties ! I had such a fun time and Happy Birthday to little Annabel!
I love a bright cobalt blue, it's one of my favorite colors. The color is very bold, especially when paired with a black. The contrast is vivid and striking. I cannot wait to pick up a piece with the fabulous color combo.
Now, that Fall is in full action, I'm thrilled! Halloween, the weather, the changing leaves, and the fashion, just too much fun! For the weekend, I am up at Brown for Family Weekend. (cannot wait to see my brother) Do you have any fun weekend plans? Let me know. Have a wonderful weekend.
After, having a little fun on the Shopbop sale (ends today, hurry!) , I am set for awhile, but its good to think ahead right? Here are the items, I'm lusting after at the moment. The Rich and Skinny jeans are an exception though, after I saw them, I couldn't resist! I went ahead and purchased them from Shopbop!! hehe (:
Hello! This week's It Girl is the lovely Jacey from Damsel in Dior! Jacey has a fabulous sense of style, and her blog is one of my go to reads. Her sense of humor, makes her an even better blogger.
She knows how to mix high and low to perfection, making her looks to die for!
I highly suggust checking out Jacey!
The lovely Poppy Delevigne wore the cutest polka dot jeans during LFW. I instantly was in love. I am dying to get my hands on a pair (coveting these from Paige Denim). The way Poppy wore them, is so chic! Officially obsessed!
I hope you all had a great week! This week , I hit 1,500 views on my blog! Thank you so much! I also have changed the layout of "Little Treasures", I hope you all like it.
Each season seems there seems to be a new fabulous shoe trend. This fall, it's ankle booties. They are so wearable and comfortable . They can be paired with skinny jeans, from sweater dresses. I love my pair from Shoemint (I have worn them to death). You can still find the perfect pair, and won't break the bank. Keep on Sailing, Sloane
One of my favorite bloggers, Bee from Atlantic Pacific just launched her collection with Bauble Bar. Let me say, I am in love! I picked up two necklaces and a ring stack. I cannot wait till they come. Congratulations to Bee for the amazing collection and let me know if you pick up a piece!
I love interesting headboards. I think they make a room look so alive, and fresh. I love how some are classic quilted ones, and others are such unexpected items like old doors, or part of an gold antique gate.
Hello! This week's It Girl is Sophie Elkus. Sophie writes the amazing blog AngelFoodStyle. Sophie is so sweet, and has fantastic style. Her look is so chic, and she loves playing with trends, but keeping true to her own style. I love the items she picked for her Fall essentials. To me, Sophie is definitely an It Girl in my book.
Hello! I hope you all had a great first week of October. I'm so excited that tomorrow is my birthday! Woohoo! I cannot wait to see my brother on Sunday, and celebrate with my family.
I found this look on Lauren Conrad's website, and I fell in love with it. I love the mix of textures, it gives the outfit personality, and is too chic! You can pair this outfit, with boots, flats, or heels almost anything. I cannot wait to try this look our for Fall.
