Stars/Dots

Boden Romper (old) // Madewell Sweater // Joie Loafers // Marc by Marc Jacobs Sunglasses // Celine Bag
// Hermes Scarf (borrowed) // Michael Kors Watch // Bauble Bar Bracelets // Loren Hope Bracelet

I have been mixing prints way more often. I love a classic color scheme with mixed prints; like this look I wore last month. Having a color scheme is important for mixing prints, here I wore all blues and navy. I added a small pop of color with a scarf around my bag. Mixing prints is also about being creative. In this case, I'm actually wearing a romper with a printed v-neck sweater over! Hope you are having a good weekend!

Spring Shoe Guide

This Spring, I am in love with so many shoes- it's a little bit of a problem! For each new season, I try to buy a mix of different style shoes. It's not the best to end up with five pairs on gold sandals! Having your classic, basic shoes for each season is ideal.I also like to add a  fun or trendy pairs! I have included my favorite shoe styles for this season. Everything from nude heels to easy sandals. Personally, I am leaning towards these Vince heels and these fun BCBGeneration Blue Heels

Spring Fling

Parker Dress (love this one) // Club Monaco Jacket // LoefflerRandall Rider Bag // Marc by Marc Jacobs Sunglasses (old) // Pour La Victoire Heels // Michael Kors watch // Essie "Flirt"

During the Spring, there is nothing I love more than to wear a silky, printed dress with a structured jacket.  This beautiful Parker dress was a Christmas present from my brother, that has been  in my closet. I love the print, it reminds me of watercolor paintings. I paired the dress with two updated classic pieces; a tweed jacket and a neutral bag. This Club Monaco jacket (which I scored on an amazing sale) is the perfect Spring outer piece. The bright color is super wearable and you can also layer the jacket during the colder months.

I have been coveting LoefflerRandall purses!  I have been saving my pennies for the Rider bag and last week I went ahead and splurged on it! Seriously, I'm in love! It's the ideal size and the neutral color works all year round. Hope you all have had a good weekend!

Sunny Yellow

Brochu Walker Blouse (love this here) // Joie Lace Pants // Tory Burch Heels //
J.Crew Pavé Link Bracelet // Loren Hope Link Bracelet

I am so happy that Spring is finally here! After days of cold to warm to cold; the sun is shining and the temperatures are hitting 70! Yellow always reminds me of Spring, the color is instantly boosts my mood. I purchased this shirt during my family's vacation to Anguilla at the Viceroy's amazing boutique! I paired the blouse with white, lace pants from Joie that I found at their Meatpacking store. I highly suggest stopping by there- everyone there is super sweet and the boutique is chic! Do you like to wear yellow during the Spring? Hope you are having a great week!

Pink Pants

J.Crew Pants // Three Dots T-Shirt c/o // Pour La Victoire Heels (old, similar here and here
// Bauble Bar Bracelet // Ray-Ban Sunglasses

When I first purchased these pink pants from J.Crew, I was not sure how much I would like them. I thought they were going to be ill-fitting or look funny. Luckily, the fit was amazing. I love where they sit on my waist and how they are cropped at the ankle. Of course, I love the color too (neon obsessed)! I paired the pants with a more casual lace top which I've been wearing with everything from printed skirts to simple jeans.

Mint + Neon

Splendid Neon Baseball Tee  (also love this LNA option) // Asos Skirt // French Connection Shoes (last seen here) // Claire Viver Clutch // Ray-Ban Sunglasses // Hermes Bracelet // Bauble Bar Rings (old)

If you have been following my most recent outfit posts- see them all here- you will have seen my love for neon! During Spring, there is nothing I love more than bright, vibrant colors! I bought this shirt from Splendid in the depths of Winter, and cannot be more happy to finally be wearing it now! To mix it up, I paired it with a mint circle skirt. I love the freshness of mint and neon! Again, I'm wearing my favorite shoes from French Connection- they have metallic and lucite!!

Cover Clothing

If you didn't know already, I am an avid sailor. When I'm on and off the water, I always make sure my skin is protected 100%. That means wearing sunscreen, but also wearing proper clothing with sun protection. The problem is a lot of those clothes aren't that protective or even cute! They are often covered with colorful designs and big logos- don't get me wrong, I love Roxy and Billabong. But sometimes, I prefer a simple yet stylish top with no logos.

That's where Cover Clothing comes in. Cover Clothing is a clothing brand started by two good friends from Dallas, Lisa Moore and Robyn Stevens. The two ladies were always spending time in the sun with their young ones, and felt as if they weren't getting enough protection. They also had the same problem as me; finding cute, stylish, sun wear!

I had the chance to talk to co-founder Lisa Moore about the growing brand. She told me how she could never find clothes that were versatile and protective! Lisa and Robyn designed the clothes so that you could wear them both on the beach and off the beach.

"I want our customers to feel great in our pieces."

As the two fashionable ladies expand the brand, they want their customer range to be large. "We try to have a large range of items for everyone. Someday, we hope to have teens to elderly ladies wearing our brand."

Another reason I am obsessed with Cover Clothing is because of the simplistic design and science behind the brand. Instead of having the SPF sprayed onto the clothes like most brands do, the protection is weaved into the fabric. Thus, the SPF will never fade! Pretty amazing, right?! You can purschase Cover Clothing from here! You can choose from simple tops to flirty dresses! Be sure to check back on Thursday to see mine, Robyn's, and Lisa's sun protection favorites!

Emerald

Otte Blouse // J.Brand Jeans (old) // French Connection Heels // Julie Vos Animal Bangles c/o
// Michael Kors Watch // Julie Vos Necklace c/o // BaubleBar Monogram Necklace

I cleaned out my closet recently, only to discover I have no shirts in red, emerald, and orange. Because of that, this past week  I went to my favorite stores; Intermix, Otte, and Joie. While I was shopping, I bought three new shirts in all those colors. I love having a variety of different colors to mix and match! I tend to wear a lot more colors during the Spring and Summer too! I love this blouse I picked up from Otte. The simple cut makes it a versatile piece, but is chicer and bolder with the emerald color! (Emerald is the Color of the Year, too!) I paired with simple jewels and a fun, colorful pair of heels! I have to add, I am obsessed with these shoes! The lucite heel and colorful metallic are a super fun!
