Surfer Chic

Joe's Jeans (last worn here) // Free People Top- it's on sale! // Tkees Sandals // Ray-Ban Sunglasses
// Vanessa Mooney Finger Chain // Unknown Bracelet

I love "surfer style" a lot. Perfect beachy hair, boho chic style... it's effortless in the most glam way possible. Because I am (A) not a surfer (B) don't live in California or Hawaii, I tend to achieve surfer style through awesome items of clothing, like these printed jeans. The fun tie-dye print reminds me of clear sparkling water and sunsets in Maui. What can get better than that?! This finger chain is my new favorite piece of jewelry. It's very dainty but still makes an impact on the outfit.

Hands down Summer is my favorite season ever. Sunny, fun-filled weekends are the best. This weekend in particular was a blast. I had brunch with friends, swam in the pool, sailed, ate yummy food, and so much more. I truly forgot how much I loved the season and everything that comes along with it! Take a look at some of the pics I snapped from my weekend! And be sure to follow me on Twitter for more! xxx

Weekend Ready

DVF Dress (old) // Superga Sneakers // Harding Lane Hat // Celine Bag // The Ropes Maine Bracelet c/o // Bauble Bar Ring // Ray-Ban Sunglasses // Vintage Memosail Watch (borrowed from my dad)

Hope you all had a great week! I was very busy with the first week of Summer, so I am glad the weekend is here!  Lately, I have been wearing sneakers- the fashionable ones- a ton! I love the mix of a dress or skirt with sporty accessories, like a baseball hat and sneakers. It definitely has become a go-to look of mine! Superga's sneakers come in a lot of colors -I love these ombre ones and linen ones! My style tends to be more on the feminine side, yet most of the time I just like to wear kicks and a simple dress. It's the perfect mix of feminine and cool.

p.s. Gracey from Stripes & Peonies featured me on her cute blog this week. Thank you for the fun feature and go read it here!

Bleached

Rebecca Taylor Shorts // Equipment Blouse // Clare Viver Clutch // Vince Heels // A.V. Max Cuff via Lemon Stripes // Loren Hope Link Bracelet // Hermes Bracelet // Bauble Bar Studded Bracelet // Assorted Rings from Catbird and Bauble Bar // Essie"Figi"// Ray-Ban Sunglasses

Yesterday was such a busy yet fun day! In the morning I played tennis- trust me I'm not that good. Then off to the city for a nice afternoon/evening. I went to the Stripes & Sequins x Bauble Bar party in Soho for some shopping and crafts! It was so nice meeting Grace and diy-ing! Bauble Bar's pop-up shop is so fun- I recommend a visit if you have the chance. Afterward, I went to Momofuku Milk Bar and picked up some yummy cookies. What is your favorite cookie/sweet from Momofuku? I ended the day with shopping at the Kate Spade Saturday Window-Shop! Might be the coolest way to shop!

I wore my new favorite shorts from Rebecca Taylor. I love the bleached look they have- the fit is also really nice! I kept the look simple and easy with some of my favorite items-Clare Viver clutch and Vince shoes. Be sure to check back later this week to see the pieces I picked up from Bauble Bar and the fun DIY project I created!

Here are a couple of items that are essential to have during the summer! Can you believe the official start of summer is this week?! Everything from the perfect jewelry piece for the 4th or colorful dresses that can take you from day to night.  I'd love to know what your summer essentials are!

Ikat

Joie Blouse // Topshop Dress (old) // Yosi Samra Flats c/o VPR // Persifor Clutch via Lemon Stripes
// Urban Outfitters Sunglasses // Hermes Bracelet // Essie Nail Polish in "Blanc"

One of my favorite prints is ikat. I purchased this blouse a while back and finally have worn it. It's perfect for Summer parties and easy dressing. I paired it with an eyelet dress from Topshop and simple flats from Yosi Samra- they are so comfortable! There is also a small bit of print mixing in this outfit with my new Persifor clutch from Lemon Stripes! The print is lovely and I love the small cork detailing on the rim!It can also double as a makeup bag for traveling. Speaking of traveling- earlier this week I was featured on Hitha On the Go, discussing traveling and packing!

Fresh & Flounce

Brandy Melville Crop Top // Zara Skirt (similar) // Urban Outfitters Blazer (old)
// Vince Heels // Urban Outfitters Sunglasses // Clare Viver Clutch (last seen here
Bauble Bar Stud Bracelet // Hermes Bracelets // Julie Vos Bangles c/o // Loren Hope Link Bracelet

Hope you all had a great weekend! I was quite busy- I attended a graduation party, sailed, spent time with family and friends, and worked on an exciting project for the blog! For the party, I wore this simple outfit. Lately, I have been pairing neutral crop tops with colorful skirts. I love how clean it looks with just the pop of the skirt and some jewelry. Zara has been killing it lately- especially with their skirts and shorts! The fitted top balances out with the small ruffle in the skirt and long blazer. You can easily dress down this look by switching the heels out for some flat sandals and adding an army-style jacket.

The Perfect Jacket

Happy Friday! This rainy, gloomy weather made me realize I don't own a good rain jacket. I have a heavy foul weather one for sailing, and a light trench coat for when it's drizzling, yet I don't own the perfect all-around jacket. Then I stumbled across this one on Henri Llyod. Henri Llyod is my go-to for all my sailing gear. Everything is well made and lasts forever. This jacket is perfect; it's stylish but still practical. Unlike most "army style" jackets, it has a hood and nautical details.

In the Garden

Alice & Olivia Dress // Brandy Melville Sweater // Tory Burch Wedges (old) // Marc by Marc Jacobs Sunglasses // Asha by Adm Clutch (old) // Stella & Dot Bracelet // Loren Hope Earrings

The beginning of Summer and end of the school year means there is tons of events; graduations, parties, etc... Yesterday, for my prize day I wore a gorgeous RVN dress- here is the tank version. Last week, I attended a family friend's graduation, wearing this Alice and Olivia dress. All of A&O's summer dresses are perfect for summery events. See below for more Alice and Olivia picks!

In my last post, I mentioned about experimenting with my hair more. This dutch braid is super easy to do. I am thinking about doing a hair tutorial on a favorite style of mine- let me know if you would like that!

Summer Uniform

Equipment Shirt (last one here) // Zara Shorts // Rebecca Minkoff Sandals (similar
// Julie Vos Necklace c/o // Clare Vivier Clutch // Brandy Melville Rings- in stores //

As of late, silk shorts have been a staple in my closet. I can tell you, this look will most definitely be my summer uniform for when I need to look causal yet put-together. I am in love with my new Zara shorts- the print comes in multiple colors that are all perfect for Summer. White blouses are such a great item too. I wish I could tell you how many outfits I have worn where a white blouse is present- see here, here, and here. My hair is also changes a little bit in the summer. It becomes more wavy and natural. Expect some fun hairstyles in posts to come.
