Sea Lace

Wearing: Dress from St.Barths (last worn here, similar), Topshop slides, Ray Ban shades

This past weekend, I was up in good 'ole Rhode Island for the Brown Sailing Parent Regatta. My brother, Reid and I did quite well, I must say.

I can never not stop by Ocean Drive when I'm up in Newport. One of my favorite spots in New England- the salty air and blue waters are intoxicating. I slipped on my favorite lace slip dress- no pun intended- yesterday before heading back to Connecticut. Along with my favorite slides and shades, I was channeling the 90s and Sound of Music- quite the odd pairing. Yesterday reminded me on how much I love sweet New England. Everything from the ocean, Americana vibes and the beauty of nature - nothing tops it especially during the warmer months. Cheers your Monday drink to that.

Daisy Lace

Dress from boutique (similar, similar) | Vince heels | Clare Vivier clutch
| Monica Vinader bracelet | Sloane Ranger bracelet c/o | Bauble Bar ring

Anytime I travel somewhere, I can never resist a little bit of shopping. St.Barths has quite diverse shops from high end to local boutiques filled with one-of-the-kind gems. Before my trip, I was on a hunt for a white lace dress that was a little more causal and to be cliche- me. One of my favorite boutiques, Lilli Belle carries a plethora of white lace dresses. In the end I chose this one partially because it was something I've never seen before. And truth be told, it reminds me of a hippie child and the Sound of Music. Sometimes finding a special piece is all it takes to elevate your wardrobe.

Delicate Lace

Dolce Vita Dress // Vince Heels // Moda Operandi Earrings // Bauble Bar Ring (left hand) // Catbird Rings (right hand) // Essie "Chinchilly" Nail Polish

I bought this dress for my trip to France and desperately wanted to save it till then. But it was sitting in my closet and I just couldn't resist wearing it. The lace detailing and simple cut are so perfect for summer. I paired my new favorite dress with my go-to Vince heels (the best purchase I've ever made!). To add an unexcepted twist  to the look, I wore these Moda Operandi earrings I borrowed from my mom. I love how the jewel toned earrings look in contrast to the delicacy of the dress. See below for more simple lace dresses!
