Gypsy

Monica Vinader and vintage bracelets, Catbird rings, Bauble Bar ring

It's a love affair with off the shoulder blouses. They remind me of frolicking through the Mediterranean circa 1960s. Boating with Bardot, thought you'd never ask. Despite the annoyance of constantly pulling down the sleeves, they give my usual tomboy style, an easy dose of feminine (what you say!) The contrast of the gypsy style blouse and the boyfriend jeans is unexpected but a combination that will be worn on repeat.

If only I could be laying out at Club 55 gazing out into the blue horizon. Does someone have a one way ticket to France? Je voyagerai rapide. See ya then.

Vibrance

Current & Elliott jeans, Hermes scarf, Alice & Olivia heels (different color, Isabel Marant x H&M blazer, Chanel bag, Sloane Ranger bracelet c/o, Catbird rings, Monica Vinader bracelet

This past weekend, it was great to feel the warm sunshine on my face and for the temperatures to excel 50*. Winter has felt like a massive black hole of polar vortexes and countless feet of snow. Receiving a small taste of Spring boosted my mood (especially being near the ocean this past weekend). Being able to step outside in a blazer and jeans was the best feeling ever. These boyfriend jeans are the closest my legs have been exposed to air the past four months and I cannot wait to wear them more in the Spring. Along with a simple look of jeans and a blazer, a silk scarf spices things up a little. I am not a big scarf person but I love the un-expected twist of wearing it "western style".  Here is to a vibrant Spring ahead... don't worry, it is coming.

Neutral Field

My style is evolving and it's heading into a more minimalistic approach. Even though I love color (trust me I do), neutrals are key bases of a great wardrobe. Some of these great pieces are on sale like this Stella sweater - amazing deal and I can't imagine how cozy it is. My everyday jewelry is much more simple as well- a mix of dainty bracelets and rings. Sloane Ranger sent me a few bracelets (like this one) to mix into my everyday stack. They are offering 15% off all jewelry to my readers with the code SAILINGSEA15 until the 20th of January. Shop the post below:

Daisy Lace

Dress from boutique (similar, similar) | Vince heels | Clare Vivier clutch
| Monica Vinader bracelet | Sloane Ranger bracelet c/o | Bauble Bar ring

Anytime I travel somewhere, I can never resist a little bit of shopping. St.Barths has quite diverse shops from high end to local boutiques filled with one-of-the-kind gems. Before my trip, I was on a hunt for a white lace dress that was a little more causal and to be cliche- me. One of my favorite boutiques, Lilli Belle carries a plethora of white lace dresses. In the end I chose this one partially because it was something I've never seen before. And truth be told, it reminds me of a hippie child and the Sound of Music. Sometimes finding a special piece is all it takes to elevate your wardrobe.

Balance

Equipment blouse | Zara skort (old) | K.Jacques sandals | Samudra clutch | Julie Vos necklace c/o | Asha by Adm necklace c/o | Monica Vinader bracelet | Sloane Ranger bracelet c/o |

Head to toe white is always a breath of fresh air especially in the new year. Hope everyone had a great NYE! To celebrate 2014, I am bringing you a white on white outfit to signify a fresh slate. Anytime I travel, I always bring some of my favorite white pieces to mix and match or to pair together. I picked up this clutch yesterday at La Plage and love the quirky twist it adds to any basic outfit. We spent the evening debating what was on the clutch and finally agreed that it was some abstract shark fin. (:

St.Barth Breeze

Calypso St.Barth dress | Vince sandals | Bauble Bar ring
| Monica Vinader bracelet | Hermes bracelet | St.Barth bracelet

Rarely do I find a maxi dress that I love, but I am making an exception for this Calypso St.Barth number. Anytime I'm in a Calypso store, I always see their beautiful maxi dresses but I'm not gutsy enough to purchase one myself. I received this dress as a Christmas present and I'm so happy that I was able to wear it in St.Barth a few days later. The sea inspired colors are my favorite and the print gives of an easy but eclectic vibe. I paired it with my beloved Vince shoes which have gotten their fair share of wear and tear. Anytime I come back to St.Barth, I tend to rack up a stack of bracelets. I wear them to threads but they always remind me of my adventures on my favorite island. Tonight is New Year's Eve and I'm so excited for this evening's festivities. Here is to the last post of 2013. Thank you for following along with me. XO

Eden Rock

Indah dress | K.Jacques sandals | Asha by Adm necklace c/o
| Sloane Ranger bracelet c/o | Monica Vinader bracelet | Tiffany & Co. bracelet

I will never get sick of St.Jean beach and Eden Rock. I've may have lost count of the times I've visited but I discover something new every time  I'm there. Between the loud music coming from Nikki Beach and the waves crashing, the ambiance is the ideal mix. I wore a new purchase from a favorite of mine- Indah. I picked up this dress (or cover-up) for the trip and I'm happy I did. It can translate from a day at the beach or to night with simply a change of shoes. I love the interesting print and the cutouts on the sides and back. I've also been wearing necklaces much more. I tend to stick to daintier ones with personal meanings like the St.Barths pendant from Asha by Adm. Today, we will be heading to another favorite- Saline beach.
