Chambray Story
I've already confessed my love for rompers, so I'm going to save you out of despair, and instead share another favorite, chambray aka denim. I know you love it...
I used to stray away from denim on denim, but I know it has become a staple in the file: easiest outfits. On that fact, this chambray (denim-same thing) romper with a scarf is my non-conventional twist on the Canadian tux. Plus, for a person who was never a fan of scarves- it was a short-lived phase that went down hill very fast- this chambray sale score is slowly opening the scarf door once again, this time around less tassels and pizazz. Chambray cowboy for the win.
Don't be afraid to double up that denim. Even though the fabric is a classic, it can decay fast: #PROOF.
Bless Addison for creating the effortless chambray outfit in one that will be worn way too much for this summer by yours truly, of course.

Summertime Shoes
pc. by Alexandra Gibbs
If you guys couldn't figure it out (I mean... it's not the hard) I'm quite the shoe head. I can never resist any sneaker, sandal, or flat- sometimes heels- you throw my way. Alas, I've decided to include some video content to the blog. *slow clap* about time, Sloane- I know... I know...
I'm no Spielberg or Anderson, but the video isn't too shabby. Please share what you would like to see on here, and subscribe to my Youtube channel here. Speaking of the world wide webz of media- I'm tumblr'n on the regular once again- come and join the party!
Shoes in video from start to finish- Vince flats, Soludos espadrilles, Topshop slides, Comme des Garçons sneaks, Zara sandals, Joie sandals

Illusions
Nope, no magic happening here except from my dear lovers at Zara. Back at it sporting another dress- this time with a shirt? Hmm... your eyes are fooling you! Is it a shirt around my waist or not? The illusion of dressing at its finest state.
This shirtdress (literally) has rescued my causal wardrobe from the doom days. I don't often sport dresses as everyday attire, but my sartorial ways are changing. Once the weather heats up, dresses save much effort into what should be the easiest part of my day. All this simplistic dressing leaves more time to explore the world- like summertime in Central Park.

Pinstripes + Blush
Blush tones, bare legs, and skirts.
Dare I say, Spring is in the air?
As I'm still convinced I'm on island time (all my regards, Anguilla), I have been dressing like it's 60 degrees outside. In my defense, it was warm this weekend yet the weather is more topsy-turny than a carnival ride.
I've been pulling out some favorite blush tone pieces; minimal pieces that are easy to mix in with my wardrobe. The denim skirt also has had a rebirth this Spring and this pinstripe version from Madewell is above all. All of Madewell's new items are amazing and their campaigns are featuring ultra-cool girl, Erin Wasson. Need I say more?

Neutral Field
My style is evolving and it's heading into a more minimalistic approach. Even though I love color (trust me I do), neutrals are key bases of a great wardrobe. Some of these great pieces are on sale like this Stella sweater - amazing deal and I can't imagine how cozy it is. My everyday jewelry is much more simple as well- a mix of dainty bracelets and rings. Sloane Ranger sent me a few bracelets (like this one) to mix into my everyday stack. They are offering 15% off all jewelry to my readers with the code SAILINGSEA15 until the 20th of January. Shop the post below:
