Formulaic

As it's completely  obnoxiously obvious by now, stripes are my favorite print to wear. A stripe dress can become your best friend when it comes to weekend dressing. Having it be a classic item, it can be challenging to mix it up and put your own personal spin. I tend to go with an overall blue and white palette (with a pop of red... 'Murica). A dark wash chambray cinches the waist and adds texture which is most definitely a win-win. Tousled hair and minimal makeup finish of the formula for weekend dressing.

A few other combinations I love for a stripe number:
cinched waist + open trench + hi-tops

Brr Baby Brr

Wearing: Reformation dress, Stuart Weitzman boots, Rebecca Minkoff bag

I do not suggest going outside without a jacket when there is snow on the ground. But for the sake of showing of my new Reformation dress, I had to go sans jacket and it was not pleasant. Looking back at my style evolution over the past months, I really have been to refine it. A surplus of oversized coats, chunky knits, and navy has dominated my wardrobe this Winter.

Navy & Black Basics

Isabel Marant x HM blazer | Brandy Melville t-shirt | James jeans
| Tieks ballet flats c/o | Rebecca Minkoff bag (similar)

Recently, I've mentioned how I am wearing a lot of black and this is a perfect example. I split up the dark color with some navy- who says the two don't go together?! I kept the main items black but ballet flats (Tieks are the best) and a t-shirt break up the outfit. This is also a perfect outfit for holiday traveling. Would you like a post on traveling style? Currently Coveting: Rebecca Minkoff Mini MAC

I am currently looking for a petite, cross~body bag. I have been looking everywhere, but I keep coming back to Rebecca Minkoff's Mini MAC bag. I love the colors (narrowed it down to three) , and the hardware. Also the size is perfect! The bag is ideal for winter, when you are all bundled up and your hans are just too cold to carry a purse!  What more could a girl ask for!?

btw: If you are a Revenge fan like me, you must know that the lady in the picture below, is Ashley Madekwe! She has a wonderful fashion blog, called Ring My Bell (:
