 This past weekend, it was great to feel the warm sunshine on my face and for the temperatures to excel 50*. Winter has felt like a massive black hole of polar vortexes and countless feet of snow. Receiving a small taste of Spring boosted my mood (especially being near the ocean this past weekend). Being able to step outside in a blazer and jeans was the best feeling ever. These boyfriend jeans are the closest my legs have been exposed to air the past four months and I cannot wait to wear them more in the Spring. Along with a simple look of jeans and a blazer, a silk scarf spices things up a little. I am not a big scarf person but I love the un-expected twist of wearing it "western style".  Here is to a vibrant Spring ahead... don't worry, it is coming.

Bare legs for days.... I'm back home and was greeted by frigid temperatures. These pictures are from a couple of weeks ago on an oddly warm day. Now I will be wearing some fleece tights and tons of layers to even go outside for 10 seconds. This playsuit might go down as one of my favorite Zara pieces. Complete with crisp pleats and a sheer back, it channels modern Parisian chic.

Recently, I've mentioned how I am wearing a lot of black and this is a perfect example. I split up the dark color with some navy- who says the two don't go together?! I kept the main items black but ballet flats (Tieks are the best) and a t-shirt break up the outfit. This is also a perfect outfit for holiday traveling. Would you like a post on traveling style? Happy December everyone- not to mention Cyber Monday. I hope you had a great Thanksgiving full of food, family, and cheer. There are a couple of items that I love to wear- turtlenecks, oversized scarfs, and white jeans. Today's post is quite the rule breaker- mixing navy and black and white jeans. But it's fashion and rules are meant to be broken. Winter white is refreshing to wear and it most definitely lightens up an outfit that has a darker palette.
