The Style List | N. 3

Acne Studios sweatshirt, Rag & Bone leather pants, JW Alexander coat, Zespa sneakers, Aerin lipgloss, Maria Black earrings

Well, I'll be damned. You caught me blushing!

This time around, I don't mind if I do... with leather clad legs and rose-gold wings, no less.

A skip and hop through the rainbow and we've struck a good pot of blush (rose) gold.

Rational Shopping

All rational thinking goes out the window when it comes to online shopping. Somehow, I convince myself that it's perfectly justifiable to buy another pair of sneakers or leather jacket (err... it's on sale!) with summer around the corner. Never less, some of these items are essential to every girl's wardrobe; denim shorts, perhaps?

Push aside the thought of practicality, all these items are at the top of my list. Not that I need anymore shoes, but these sandals fit the bill for my feet- neutral and (almost) flat. Double check. Those paired with a striped top and shorts is my soon-to-be uniform.

 Rational shopping? That's right.

Polar Blues

Wallace & Barnes sweater borrowed from my brother, Rag & Bone jeans (similar)
Alice + Olivia heels, Celine bag, Asha by Adm necklace c/o, Bauble Bar necklace

Whoever said that you can't wear summer pieces in the middle of winter was very very wrong. I purchased these rag & bone jeans this previous summer on super sale at Intermix. They are a little bit edgier than basic white because of the bleached fabric and zippers at the ankles- which are perfect for showing off killer heels. Of course I am wearing head-to-toe blue again. A chunky sweater is one stop layering and ideal on Winter days. My rule on knits- the thicker, the better especially during polar vortexes.

November Lusts

PB Teen x Emily & Meritt pillow // Rag & Bone denim jacket // Love and Lemons crop top and skirt // Nars "Train Bleu"  // Fresh lip balm //  YSL "Naughty Mauve" // Diptyque candles- out next week

How in the world is it November?! October flew by- my birthday feels like ages ago. I would be lying if I said I wasn't excited for this month. It's the beginning of the holiday season (53 days 'till Christmas!) and the weather becomes absolutely perfect. Above I'm sharing everything I'm loving this month. Holiday candles are burning in my room- the new Diptyque ones are my favorite! I've been wearing a darker lip more than normal. For someone who only wears lip balm, it's quite different. I am slowly changing up my room- needlepoint pillows add character and cheekiness to any room. Blair Eadie launched her Bauble Bar collection earlier this week- this happy necklace is a favorite piece of mine! Matching crop tops and skirts are my new favorite combo- a neutral color like grey makes them chic not trashy. Cute beanies are perfect for staying warm and cute (the sparkle adds a nice touch). Hope you have a great weekend!

Fall Layers

Asos faux fur vest // Ralph Lauren sweater // J.Brand jeans (old) // Stuart Weitzman boots

This is the ideal fall outfit- mixed textures, cozy layers, and a warm color palette. I picked up this fur vest last week and couldn't wait to wear it over the weekend. The quality is amazing and the price is on point- I do suggest ordering one size up for layering. This hat from Rag & Bone is a new favorite of mine. It solved all those bad hair days and not to mention it's perfect for chilly mornings.

Fall Styling // J.Crew Classics Part 1

       J.Crew Chambray // J.Crew Denim vest // Rag & Bone jeans (old)
// Joie loafers // Marc by Marc Jacobs sunglasses

Happy Tuesday! I am still in shock it's already September- and I start school tomorrow. Crazy! To kick of fall fashion, my blogger bud Caroline from citrus & style and I will be styling two of our favorite J.Crew pieces. Today, we are wearing the infamous chambray shirt which is a definite must for everyone.

There is countless ways to style the shirt. Here,I went for more of a casual look. I love to play with the different denim washes of the top, vest, and jeans for a cool look. If you will be rocking head to toe denim, it's key to have different washes. Overall, the chambray shirt can be dressed up and dressed down. Be sure to see how Caroline styled her chambray shirt! Stay tuned to next week to see what J.Crew classic we style next- it's going to be good!

Btw-isn't the view from the lighthouse at Castle Hill in Newport amazing? Be sure to check the blog tomorrow for a recap of my last summer weekend.

Currently Coveting: Ankle Boots

Each season seems there seems to be a new fabulous shoe trend. This fall, it's ankle booties. They are so wearable and comfortable . They can be paired with skinny jeans, from sweater dresses. I love my pair from Shoemint (I have worn them to death). You can still find the perfect pair, and won't break the bank.

Keep on Sailing,
