Navy Leather

Tory Burch leather jacket- borrowed // Vineyard Vines sweater // Zara pants (last worn here
// Stuart Weitzman boots // Clare Vivier clutch // Loren Hope bracelet

I am constantly wearing oversized sweaters (mostly borrowed from my brother).  The past weekend, I pretty much lived in this Vineyard Vines one. To polish up the causal look, I borrowed this Tory Burch leather jacket from my mom. It was a little big on me, but it worked because of the oversized knit underneath. A delicate peplum on the jacket adds a feminine touch to the overall look.

Have you checked out Sailor's Shop yet? It's full of holiday gifts and goodies!

Currently Coveting

I mentioned last week how much I'm digging Mango, this skirt is near the top of my wish list. Alexa Chung is one of my top style icons. She embodies a cool/French girl/it Brit/tomboy perfectly; I desperately want to pick up her new book "It". I did a massive jewlery purge over the weekend (selling some of Poshmark) and want to add these two pieces from Julie Vos and Loren Hope to my collection. A classic black bag is the ideal for fall and winter. Same with a cream cashmere knit- wouldn't it look great with leather leggings?! The days are becoming shorter and not to mention, chillier. These playful leggings from Zoe Karseen make loungewear stylish. When I'm out and about, leather gloves keep the hands warm and underneath theem- navy nails. Lastly, black sunglasses are a must have for everyone.

Neutral Mix

HIHO Dress c/o // Converse Sneakers // J.Crew Belt (old) // Celine Bag // Michael Kors Watch // Loren Hope Link Bracelet // Asha by Adm Bracelet // Essie "Madison Ave-Hue" Polish

Normally I don't wear a ton of neutrals- except white- during the summer. Over the weekend, I decided to mix it up and wear a neutral outfit. I wore this HIHO dress (which I also have in blue & white) for an easy daytime outfit. I added neutral accessories; white kicks, classic bag, and simple bracelets. It's definitely a new look for me but I like it a lot! The light material of the dress is also perfect in the scorching summer heat (like this past weekend!)

Bleached

Rebecca Taylor Shorts // Equipment Blouse // Clare Viver Clutch // Vince Heels // A.V. Max Cuff via Lemon Stripes // Loren Hope Link Bracelet // Hermes Bracelet // Bauble Bar Studded Bracelet // Assorted Rings from Catbird and Bauble Bar // Essie"Figi"// Ray-Ban Sunglasses

Yesterday was such a busy yet fun day! In the morning I played tennis- trust me I'm not that good. Then off to the city for a nice afternoon/evening. I went to the Stripes & Sequins x Bauble Bar party in Soho for some shopping and crafts! It was so nice meeting Grace and diy-ing! Bauble Bar's pop-up shop is so fun- I recommend a visit if you have the chance. Afterward, I went to Momofuku Milk Bar and picked up some yummy cookies. What is your favorite cookie/sweet from Momofuku? I ended the day with shopping at the Kate Spade Saturday Window-Shop! Might be the coolest way to shop!

I wore my new favorite shorts from Rebecca Taylor. I love the bleached look they have- the fit is also really nice! I kept the look simple and easy with some of my favorite items-Clare Viver clutch and Vince shoes. Be sure to check back later this week to see the pieces I picked up from Bauble Bar and the fun DIY project I created!

Fresh & Flounce

Brandy Melville Crop Top // Zara Skirt (similar) // Urban Outfitters Blazer (old)
// Vince Heels // Urban Outfitters Sunglasses // Clare Viver Clutch (last seen here
Bauble Bar Stud Bracelet // Hermes Bracelets // Julie Vos Bangles c/o // Loren Hope Link Bracelet

Hope you all had a great weekend! I was quite busy- I attended a graduation party, sailed, spent time with family and friends, and worked on an exciting project for the blog! For the party, I wore this simple outfit. Lately, I have been pairing neutral crop tops with colorful skirts. I love how clean it looks with just the pop of the skirt and some jewelry. Zara has been killing it lately- especially with their skirts and shorts! The fitted top balances out with the small ruffle in the skirt and long blazer. You can easily dress down this look by switching the heels out for some flat sandals and adding an army-style jacket.

The beginning of Summer and end of the school year means there is tons of events; graduations, parties, etc... Yesterday, for my prize day I wore a gorgeous RVN dress- here is the tank version. In my last post, I mentioned about experimenting with my hair more. This dutch braid is super easy to do. I am thinking about doing a hair tutorial on a favorite style of mine- let me know if you would like that!

For Summer, I tend to gravitate towards colorful, effortless dresses. The majority of dresses in my closet are bright frocks that can be dressed up or down. To make the look even more colorful, I've been wearing bold shoes like these. It's such a fun summer outfit!  I just added this perfect Rory Beca dress to my closet. Noir & Blanc

Asos Sweater // Brandy Melville Skirt (similar) // Zara Blouse (old) // Vince Heels
// Loren Hope Bracelet (last worn here) // Celine Bag // Marc by Marc Jacobs Sunglasses

When I have no idea what to wear, I either go with black and white or stripes. In this case, I went with black and white. I fell in love with this Asos sweater a while back- I have no clue why I haven't shown it on here until now! The sweater is playful yet so easy to wear. To keep the outfit on the lighter side, I paired the sweater with a white collared shirt and a white skirt. I am wearing my favorite shoes too- which you have already seen here, here, and here! As for my hair... I wore it in a low ponytail. That is something I don't do very often- it's good to switch it up!

Silk Shorts

Equipment Blouse // Joie Shorts (love this print) // Loeffler Randall Bag // Loren Hope Link       Bracelet // Hermes Cuff // Urban Outfitters Bracelet // Julie Vos Bangles c/o // Catbird Ring // Jack Rogers Sandals

Photos by Katie

I love weekends that are filled with fun times, and activities.Yesterday, I went into the city for brunch with Katie. We ate at Sullivan's Bistro in Greenwich Village- the pancakes are yummy! Afterward, I walked around a little bit with my dad. I love the city when it's nice weather. If I will be walking around, and need an easy outfit, I always go with silk shorts or pants and a button down blouse. The combination is low maintenance and chic. I am also breaking in my new Jack Rogers, I always get a pair each year and by the end of Summer, they are completely and utterly dead and worn. Today, I went big boat sailing with my dad and a couple of family friends. It was the perfect end to the weekend.

Floral Shirtdress

Club Monaco Shirtdress // Vince Sandals // Urban Outfitters Sunglasses // Design Darling Monogrammed iPhone Case
// Julie Vos Bangles c/o // Loren Hope Link Bracelet // Bauble Bar Cuff // Hermes Bracelet // Urban Outfitters Spike Bracelet // Catbird "Star" Ring

I have always loved a good shirtdress. They are  perfect for the days when you want to look put together without tons of effort. I fell in love with this printed Club Monaco dress.  It cinches a little bit at the waist and the length is just right. Shirtdresses are also great for traveling. This August, my family and I going to Provence and St.Tropez for vacation. An easy shirtdress will be ideal for touring and walking around! You can pair them with easy flats and straw tote for day. At night, switch out flats for heeled sandals, and add a few baubles. I've included a few shirtdresses that I love below!

Stars/Dots

Boden Romper (old) // Madewell Sweater // Joie Loafers // Marc by Marc Jacobs Sunglasses // Celine Bag
// Hermes Scarf (borrowed) // Michael Kors Watch // Bauble Bar Bracelets // Loren Hope Bracelet

I have been mixing prints way more often. I love a classic color scheme with mixed prints; like this look I wore last month. Having a color scheme is important for mixing prints, here I wore all blues and navy. I added a small pop of color with a scarf around my bag. Mixing prints is also about being creative. In this case, I'm actually wearing a romper with a printed v-neck sweater over! Hope you are having a good weekend!

Sunny Yellow

Brochu Walker Blouse (love this here) // Joie Lace Pants // Tory Burch Heels //
J.Crew Pavé Link Bracelet // Loren Hope Link Bracelet

I am so happy that Spring is finally here! After days of cold to warm to cold; the sun is shining and the temperatures are hitting 70! Yellow always reminds me of Spring, the color is instantly boosts my mood. I purchased this shirt during my family's vacation to Anguilla at the Viceroy's amazing boutique! I paired the blouse with white, lace pants from Joie that I found at their Meatpacking store. I highly suggest stopping by there- everyone there is super sweet and the boutique is chic! Do you like to wear yellow during the Spring? Hope you are having a great week!
